Location: Mecca, Saudi ArabiaThe Jabal Omar Development Project is a unique urban regeneration scheme aimed at providing first class accommodation and supporting religious, social and commercial facilities and services for the visitors and residents of the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. The development will significantly enhance accommodation and other facilities for the ever-increasing number of pilgrims and seasonal visitors to Al-Haram.
The Jabal Omar Development is a mixed-use development that includes residential apartments, hotels, commercial uses, public parking, and associated support facilities such as public assembly and prayer areas. With a land area of 230,000 m², and built-up floor area of approximately two million square meters, the project is anticipated to be a high-density development (1,500 persons/hectare).
Firemac FM Fire Ducts are currently being installed in the project to provide smoke extract ducts and fire protected ventilation ductwork.
