FM Fire Ducts Projects
Firemac FM Fire Ducts are used to provide fire protection across a wide range of sectors and applications including ventilation, kitchen extract, smoke extract & control, and pressurisation for use in basements, car parks, protected zones, and escape routes.
Our systems have been successfully installed across a wide range of commercial sectors: including metro; medical; industrial; commercial; and restaurant developments in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
Our partners have been trained in all aspects of fabricating Firemac FM Fire Ducts, and are required to complete a fabrication and installation checklist for each project to confirm correct manufacture and installation of the system. Firemac inspectors conduct site inspections to ensure the manufacture and installation of Firemac FM Fire Ducts is carried out in accordance with technical requirements, and will issue Certificates of Conformity where required.

Location: Mecca, Saudi Arabia
The Jabal Omar Development Project is a unique urban regeneration scheme aimed at providing first class accommodation and supporting religious, social and commercial facilities and services for the visitors and residents of the holy city of Makkah Al-Mukarramah. Firemac FM Fire Ducts being installed in the project will provide a number of fire protection applications, including smoke and kitchen extract.

Firemac FM Fire Ducts are being installed as OTE ducts in the underground stations. In addition to demonstrating a fire resistance period of up to two hours, for this project Firemac FM Fire Ducts have also successfully passed impact, flame, smoke, and toxicity tests.
